Pesto Cream Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup prepared pesto sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 heat heavy whipping cream and water in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • 2 add butter, pesto sauce, garlic powder and salt. reduce heat and continue to cook about 5 more minutes over low heat.
  • 3 stir in 1/2 cup parmesan cheese until melted.
