Grits Casserole
Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup hominy grits
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 garlic cheese rolls
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 bring 3-1/2 c milk to boiling in medium saucepan.
- 2 gradually stir in grits.
- 3 gook over medium heat , stirring constantly, until thick (about 10 minutes).
- 4 remove from heat.
- 5 add butter and garlic cheese; stir until melted.
- 6 stir in eggs and remaining milk.
- 7 pour into 2 quart casserole.
- 8 bake in preheated 375 degree oven uncovered for 30 minutes.
- 9 sprinkle grated cheese over top.
- 10 bake 15 minutes longer.
