Sauteed Fennel

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 2 heads fennel, thinly sliced
  • kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • water

Recipe

  • 1 heat a medium saute pan over medium-high heat until just smoking.
  • 2 add the oil, garlic, fennel, and start tossing, to coat fennel in oil.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • 4 as the fennel starts to caramelize, add a splash of water to steam for 1 minute.
  • 5 remove from the heat.
