Pan Seared Spinach

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 small red onion, thinly slivered
  • 1 -2 clove garlic, finely minced,to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (works best)
  • 1 (9 ounce) bag baby spinach leaves (dole or pic sweet)
  • fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • sea salt, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • 2 add butter and garlic, be careful not to scorch the butter!
  • 3 cook garlic until slightly brown.
  • 4 add red onion slivers cook until soft about 2 minutes.
  • 5 add baby spinach leaves and toss until just warm.
  • 6 do not over cook.
  • 7 you want the spinach to be a little crisp.
  • 8 season with fresh ground salt and pepper.
  • 9 serve immediatly.
  • 10 enjoy!
