Monterey Cheese Crisps

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400*.
  • 2 slice cheese into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  • 3 place slices 3 inches apart on nonstick baking sheet.
  • 4 sprinkle with garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
  • 5 bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown - watch closely. making sure they're golden brown is important - this will ensure they 'crisp' as they cool.
  • 6 leave crisps on baking sheet for 2-3 minutes, then carefully place crisps on paper towels to finish cooling.
  • 7 these store well in an airtight container.
