Middle Eastern Hummus

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 15 ounces garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh)
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth.
  • 2 if mixture is too thick, add a little water to dilute to preferred consistency.
  • 3 serve at room temperature.
  • 4 store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week.
