Hot-n-spicy Artichoke Spread

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese or 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 2 -3 green onions, sliced thinly
  • cracker (any variety)

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onion and garlic in tbs of margarine until golden.
  • 2 combine mayonnaise and sour cream; mix well.
  • 3 add drained/chopped artichokes, cheese, drained tomatoes/chilies, and garlic/onion mixture.
  • 4 spread into a 9-inch pie plate or baking dish.
  • 5 bake uncovered at 350°f for 20-25 minutes, or until top is slightly golden brown.
  • 6 sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  • 7 serve with crackers!
