Pickled Okra

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 10 small okra pods (enough to fill pint jar)
  • 2 hot peppercorns
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup pickling salt

Recipe

  • 1 for 1 pint jar, place pepper, cloves, garlic and dill seed in jar and then fill jar with small okra.
  • 2 mix remaining ingredients, bring to boil and pour over okra. seal. can be used in 6 weeks.
