Parmesan Almonds

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon italian herb seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cups natural whole almonds
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325f.
- 2 in small bowl, mix all ingredients except egg whites and almonds set aside.
- 3 in large bowl, whisk egg whites until they begin to form soft peaks and are opaque.
- 4 add almonds and toss to coat.
- 5 add cheese mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
- 6 oil or coat a baking sheet with vegetable cook spray.
- 7 arrange almonds on baking sheet in single layer.
- 8 bake in center of oven for 15 minutes.
- 9 gently toss almonds and arrange again in single layer.
- 10 continue to bake for 15 minutes longer; toss gently.
- 11 turn off oven.
- 12 leave almonds in oven with door ajar for 20 minutes.
- 13 remove from oven and cool completely.
