Italian Sausage In Red Sauce

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs italian sausage
  • 1 (32 ounce) can crushed tomatoes with garlic
  • 1 -2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 sweet onion, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients in large duch oven and cover.
  • 2 simmer on the stove for 1 1/2- 2 hours.
  • 3 serve on sturdy french rolls with sauce, peppers and onions over top.
  • 4 we like to also top with hot gardinera.
