Garlicky Fiddlehead Ferns

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups fiddleheads, ferns
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 lemon, juice of

Recipe

  • 1 wash and clean fiddleheads.
  • 2 steam for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • 3 heat butter in pan and saute garlic gently for a few seconds.
  • 4 add fiddleheads and continue to saute till tender.
  • 5 squeeze juice of lemon over all.
  • 6 cook gently 2 - 3 minutes.
  • 7 season with salt and pepper to taste.
