Overnight Grits Souffle

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 cups regular grits, cooked
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
  • paprika

Recipe

  • 1 after cooking grits, stir the grits into the other ingredients.
  • 2 stir this mixture into the beaten eggs.
  • 3 add the cheese.
  • 4 pour into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
  • 5 sprinkle the top heavily with paprika.
  • 6 cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 7 remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
  • 8 bake, uncovered, at 350ºf for 1 1/2 hours.
