Mini Fried Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dry active yeast
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups oil (for frying)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 425 g whole tomatoes, can
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 dash salt
Recipe
- 1 in a measuring cup or small bowl, dissolve sugar& yeast in water.wait for 10 minutes or until it gets all foamy.
- 2 combine flour, and salt in a large bowl and make a well in the center.
- 3 pour the yeast and the olive oil.
- 4 knead for 6-8 minutes until you have a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (add a bit more flour if you need to).
- 5 put the dough in greasy bowl; cover and let rest for 1 houre.
- 6 divide the dough into 16 ball.
- 7 pat each dough with your hand.
- 8 fry each pizza in a deep oil until become brown.
- 9 add the sauce in top of each pizza.
- 10 sprinkle with cheese, bake 350 degrees f.
- 11 for sauce:.
- 12 crush the tomato.
- 13 combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- 14 cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.
- 15 lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it.
