Ground Cilantro (coriander) Chutney

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly packed fresh cilantro leaves
  • 8 spring onions
  • 2 fresh green chilies
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 80 ml lemon juice
  • 40 ml water

Recipe

  • 1 seed and roughly chop the chillies.
  • 2 crush the garlic with the salt.
  • 3 place these and the remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender and work until smooth.
  • 4 pack into a small dish, cover and chill until ready to use.
