Shep Ogden's Little Pickles

Total Time: 12 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 hrs

Ingredients

  • 20 small cucumbers (tiny)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, minced

Recipe

  • 1 rinse cucumbers and place in a quart jar.
  • 2 in a saucepan bring water, vinegar, salt & sugar to a roiling boil.
  • 3 add garlic and tarragon and boil one minute.
  • 4 pour over cucumbers.
  • 5 chill at least 12 hours. this is best if it ages a bit.
