Pioneer Rich Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (1 5/8 ounce) package gravy mix (pioneer brown gravy mix preferred)
- 2 cups water
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 lb butter or 1/4 lb margarine
- 2 tablespoons red wine (burgundy, merlot or cabernet are all just fine)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 saute mushrooms in butter.
- 2 mix gravy powder to water; heat and stir until thickened.
- 3 add all ingredients together and heat until fully incorporated and heated through.
