Easy Chicago Style Spinach Pizza

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crusts
  • 1 (10 ounce) package chopped spinach, thawed, well drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 (28 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 500 degrees f.
  • 2 press crust onto bottom and sides of well greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • 3 mix spinach, mozzarella and 2 tablespoons parmesan and spread it evenly over crust.
  • 4 mix tomatoes, garlic, oregano and pepper flakes, and spread it over the cheese mixture.
  • 5 sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons parmesan.
  • 6 bake 10 minutes at 500, then reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
