Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 portabella mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2-2/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Recipe

  • 1 remove stems from mushrooms and gently scrape away gills from underside.
  • 2 combine garlic and olive oil.
  • 3 brush on caps and set aside for 30 minutes.
  • 4 combine cheese, lemon pepper and basil and set aside.
  • 5 grill over medium heat top side of mushrooms up for about 5 minutes on warming rack of grill.
  • 6 turn mushrooms over and fill with cheese mixture.
  • 7 cover and grill about 5 minutes or until cheese is warmed through.
  • 8 serve whole.
