Pizza Dough

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water (110 degrees f)
- 4 teaspoons dry active yeast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 whisk yeast into warm water and let sit 10 minutes.
- 2 blend all dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
- 3 add olive oil and water/yeast mix into dry ingredients.
- 4 mix to a stiff dough.
- 5 cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- 6 punch down and cut into 2 equal portions.
- 7 round, cover and let rest 5 more minutes.
- 8 flatten by hand or with a rolling pin on a floured surface.
- 9 transfer to a pizza pan or screen.
- 10 top with whatever sauce, cheese and toppings that you like.
- 11 bake in a 425 degree oven for about 23 minutes.
