Maple Bourbon Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons frank's red hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Recipe
- 1 in medium saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together all ingredients.
- 2 bring to simmer, lower heat to just maintain gentle simmer.
- 3 cook until thickened and reduced by half, about 20 minutes.
- 4 cool, cover, and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
