Ketchup, Homemade

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, use any you want crushed, whole etc
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 teaspoons salt, kosher is my favorite
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey, local raw is best

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth.
  • 2 pour into a pot and bring to a boil.
  • 3 reduce to a simmer and cook for 1 hour.
  • 4 if it is the consistency that you like (not to runny) then remove from heat.
  • 5 pour into a bottle with tight fitting lid and place in refrigerator.
  • 6 enjoy.
