Ingredients
- 4 lbs plums
- 1 1/2 lbs sugar
- 1 teaspoon clove, ground
- 1 teaspoon ginger, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 2 pints vinegar
- 2 ounces garlic
Recipe
- 1 boil all for 2 hours, skim off stones. put through a sieve and pour into air tight bottles or jars.
