Beer Braised Onions

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 large onions
  • 0.5 (116 ounce) bottle beer
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 slice the onions and put in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients and combine well.
  • 2 spread the onion mix on a baking tray and cover.
  • 3 cook in a moderate over 350 degrees f. for about 45 minutes or until soft stirring occasionally.
