Salsa

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, no salt added
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 serrano pepper, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 drain and discard the juices from the tomatoes.
  • 2 rinse the diced red onion under cold running water.
  • 3 combine all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
  • 4 cover and chill 45 minutes for flavors to meld.
