Roast Duck

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 (5 lb) ducklings
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon powdered ginger

Recipe

  • 1 wash and dry duckling.
  • 2 combine remaining ingredients and brush inside and out over duckling; let stand for 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  • 3 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 4 roast for 2 hours, turning and basting with drippings occasionally.
