Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped red peppers
- 1/2 cup egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute
- 1/4 cup fat-free cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons salsa
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
Recipe
- 1 spray a nonstick skillet with pam.
- 2 add onions and peppers to pan and saute for about 3 minutes.
- 3 combine the next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
- 4 add egg mixture to pan and scramble until completely cooked.
- 5 you can serve with some additional cheese, salsa, or sour cream if you prefer.
