Perfect And Healthy Scrambled Eggs

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red peppers
  • 1/2 cup egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup fat-free cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 spray a nonstick skillet with pam.
  • 2 add onions and peppers to pan and saute for about 3 minutes.
  • 3 combine the next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
  • 4 add egg mixture to pan and scramble until completely cooked.
  • 5 you can serve with some additional cheese, salsa, or sour cream if you prefer.
